Sunplus's DVD-Recordable Platform Gets DivX Encoder Certification
Sunplus recently announced that it has produced the first ever DVD-Recordable Platform to receive DivX Encoder Certification. This means that devices which will adopt the Sunplus platform can record natively and directly to DVD media using DivX video. The new Sunplus SPHE7300ARV has also been certified by DivX and will thus provide Consumer Electronics OEMs more options. By incorporating the DivX Encoder Certification program Sunplus provides manufactures a full featured DivX encoding experience.
