Sharp PN-655 - World's Largest Professional LCD Monitor in US
Sharp’s line of LCDs are always stunning, but this one is a bit special, infact extra special. Have you ever imagined a monitor which boasts of a whopping 65-inch screen size? That's exactly what shaprp has done. Sharp, today announced that the world's largest professional LCD monitor, the 65-inch model PN-655. This 65-inch monster makes use of HD technology and has a full 1920 x 1080 two-megapixel resolution. With a massive 65-inch screen size, no wonder it is ideal for use in diverse commercial settings such as digital signage, medical imaging, CAD/CAM and flight information displays.
The Sharp PN-655 comes with an incorporation of DFE (Dual-Fine Engine) technology, which enables the customer to display both computer and video content flawlessly. The monitor has a full complement of input and output connectors to show all types of content, from DVD to varying PC resolutions up through 1920 x 1080 native mode from both analog and digital (DVI) sources. In addition it displays all types of HD content from video to stills and shows both analog and digital content with ease.
It features four-wavelength spectrum, cold-cathode fluorescent backlight that provides an enhanced color spectrum including deeper, more vibrant and vivid reds. It provides stellar picture quality for fast-moving video through its fast pixel response time of less than 6 ms, thanks to Sharp's very own Advanced Super View (ASV) panel. With no fan incorporated in it, it enables extended usage with lower power consumption and better ventilation for quieter operation, which is critical for corporate settings. Also the 170-degree viewing angles help the monitors display a crisp picture that can be seen from virtually anywhere in the room.
