Samsung 82inch LCD TV
Samsung Electronics doesn’t believe in resting on its laurels and is constantly striving to produce novel and innovate electronic products. Today at CeBIT 2006 it just unveiled the worlds’ first 82” LCD TV with LED backlight making some sort of history at CeBIT. The 82” LCD TV with LED has some great ergonomics and it extremely while taking care not to compromise on its performance.
The 82” LCD TV has the ability to enlarge the color reproduction area by more than 33 percent when compared to standard LCD TVs and sports the Samsung patented dynamic Contrast technology which leads to higher contrast of up to of 7000:1 and doesn’t use mercury thus is environment friendly too. Power consumption is low as compared to other LCDs TVs and clear view is accessible form any angle. Samsungs LCD TV circuit technology forsakes a cooling fan and supports full HD (1920x1080p). There is a built in built-in HD ATSC tuner and a DNIe chip to further enhance the visual experience.
Other features include a STrusurround XT, reproducing 6.1 channel sound, and a built-in HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) for high quality images when reproduced from digital set-top boxes. There has been no word on pricing or availability but its one product to watch for in the future.
