The new PT-D10000 and PT- DW10000 projectors can deliver a brightness of 10,000 lumens and a include S-XGA+ resolution (1400x1050), a 4,000:1 contrast ratio, a standard DVI input with HDCP, and DLP 10-bit video processing. One can use the same lenses and optical modules as the D7000 series and they deliver a high contrast ratio via the Panasonic's exclusive dynamic iris and advanced image processing technology. The PJLink standard Ethernet control protocol allows one to integrate the projector with third party devices. No word on pricing but it will be available Q4 2006.
