Iiyama Japan announced their new LCD monitor, the ProLite E431S-6 which boasts a 17-inch SXGA TFT LCD with resolutions of 1280 x 1024. In addition, it features a response speed of 2ms, brightness of 300 cd/m2, contrast ratio of 700:1 and 160 degree angle of visibility. Other than the normal features are the built-in 1.5W+1.5W stereo speaker, D-Sub 15 pin and two DVI-D ports. The slim design LCD monitor weights only 4.1 kg with the size of 368.5 x 188.5 x 379 mm. ProLite E431S-6 will be available in mid-August with the price of 27,800Yen (USD238).
