Hitachi showcase its new desktop computer in Japan today. Introducing Prius One type S which will only be available from 15th July with the expected open price of 160,000Yen which is about USD1384. It sports a large 17-inch TFT LCD monitor with highest supported resolutions of 1280 x 1024 and a built-in system specifications of Intel Celeron M 380 (1.60GHz) with 400MHz FSB, Intel 910GML Express chipset, 512MB RAM, 320GB of hard disk capacity, and DVD super multiple drive which is located below the LCD screen. The whole system runs on Windows XP Home Edition (SP2). At the side of the LCD monitor, it has a built-in USB 2.0 connection, IEEE1394 port, Ethernet LAN, mini D-Sub 15 pin, S/PDIF output and SD/xD-Picture/Memory Stick (PRO) card reader. Hitachi Prius One type S weights 11.8kg and will hits Japanese market this coming 15th July.
