Acer Japan introduced their new line of LCD monitors, the AL2423W and AL1517A. AL2423W boasts 24 inch WUXGA TFT LCD with supported resolutions up to 1920 x 1200. It features a contrast ratio of 1000:1, brightness of 500cd/m2, response time of 6ms and 178-degree of all angle visibility. On the surface, it has a built-in mini D-Sub 15 pin and DVI-D connection. It weight 7.9kg with the size of 572 x 326 x 454mm.

ALI1517A features a 15 inch XGA TFT LCD with supported resolutions up to 1024 x 768, contrast ratio of 600:1, brightness of 250cd/m2, response speed of 12ms and 100-degree of top/bottom with 130-degree left/right angle of visibility. Nothing much on the surface, there is only one built-in mini D-Sub 15 pin connection. It weight 2.75kg with the size of 344 x 150 x 361 mm.

Both LCD monitors will be available in July with the price of 100,000Yen (USD860) for 24-inch AL2423W and 20,000Yen (USD172) for 15-inch AL1517A.
