Acer Japan is going to start selling their new 22 inch LCD monitor this coming July, the AL2216 which has a 22-inch WSXGA+ display with supported resolutions up to 1680 x 1050. It also features a response time of 5ms, contrast ratio of 700:1, brightness of 300cd/m2 and 160-degree of top/bottom with 170-degree of left/right angle of visibility. On the surface, it has a built-in mini D-Sub 15 pin and DVI-D connection. It weight 4.8kg with the size of 513 x 192 x 405mm. It will be available in black and silver colors with the price of 70,000Yen which is about USD601.
